Our Mission

Because we know just how hard it is to get the size.

Our Two Part Mission

Our two-part mission revolves around our ideal of excellence. The first part is that we want to use high-quality cacao beans from around the world to make the purest chocolate possible. Our chocolate will bring out the individual flavors of each of the uniquely grown beans.

The second part of our mission is our dedication to farmers. We believe that the only way to make chocolate is to create a fair and mutually beneficial process for all those in our supply chain.

We Want To Make THE Tastiest Pure Chocolate

Here's a little anecdote to illustrate the real-life applications of our first mission!

Our neighbor, Sam is a baker, and we offered her a sample of one of our dark chocolates. She looked at the chocolate and said, "You know I do not like dark chocolate!

We told her a small fib and said: "Don't worry, Sam. You should try it! It is milk chocolate.

As soon as she tasted it, she said: “"Wow! I love this! That’s when we told her:, “Sam, you just ate dark chocolate!”

Our ultimate mission is to educate people like Sam and show them there is a whole world to explore when it comes to dark chocolates. While they may initially have presumptuous beliefs about what dark chocolate tastes like, we hope that they try our chocolate and realize there is so much more to dark chocolate.

As a premium chocolate business, we are dedicated to scouring every corner of the world for the best quality cocoa beans. We hope to provide you awith an unforgettable chocolate experience.

We Want to Help The Farmers

The second half of our mission is to change the paradigm of the cocoa supply chain in favor of the cocoa farmer.

After visiting multiple farms, we've seen the hardships farmers face daily. We've seen them work extremely hard on their crop only to struggle to feed their families due to unfair treatment by the chocolate industry. We decided it was time for that to change.

To provide a complete picture, the Fairtrade Minimum Price (FMP) for conventional cocoa is $2400 per ton at the point of export (FOB).

The Fairtrade Premium (FP) for conventional and organic is $240 per ton. We decided we would pay $4000 per ton, which means we pay 140% of the Fair-Trade price.

But that’s not all!

You will notice that our chocolate bars include an additional $0.25 per chocolate bar. For example, our current Premier Cru price is $10.25 for a bar. That strange $0.25 pricing has been added for a very important reason!

For every chocolate bar we sell, we will donate $0.25 back to the farmers in your name.

With just $0.25 extra, this comes to an additional $3,500 for every ton of cocoa beans. This way, the cocoa bean farmers get $7,500 for every ton of cocoa beans. Now compare that to Fair Trade's US$ 2,840 price!

And, to ensure that all the revenues go directly to farmers, we bypass agents and middlemen to buy directly from them. For too long, unnecessary middlemen have profited from the labors of farmers.

With our help, farmers can rest easy knowing that there will be a roof over their heads, food on their tables, and the children will be provided for. We believe that as humans, everyone deserves a livable wage.

The value chain of commodities like cocoa is traditionally skewed against farmers.

So, join us, and let's lead the change!
